DETAILS: This mirror is designed by India Foster in collaboration with Puddle Pieces and Miles of Wood. Each mirror is cut by hand and set into a freeform specimen of reclaimed mahogany, cross cut to reveal the vibrant grain. Mahogany is endangered in the wild, so the highly prized wood is sourced locally from (sub)urban trees or wild trees that fell naturally during a storm. The timber is milled locally in South Florida and cured for several years before it is ready for use.
